An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

We are recruiting for four permanent SNA positions: (1) Three infant day posts (3 x 0.83 SNA posts) (2) A 0.33 contract (10 hours 30 minutes per week) which will be split over 5 days from Monday to Friday. We are also recruiting for a Job Share (0.5 Fixed-term) contract until 31.08.26

Applicants must have qualifications as per Department of Education & Skills Circular 0030/2014. Candidates must be able to work well as part of a team, be flexible and have a strong work ethic. It is a prerequisite that candidates have particular experience working with children with Autism. They must also have experience working as an SNA in a classroom setting with students with complex needs.

Our school will be opening two new special classes for children with Autism in January 2026. We also have a Speech and Language class availing of the services of a Speech and Language Therapist on site.
