This is a mainstream class teacher position, but is subject to change at the determination of the Principal. Courtenay National School is a DEIS Band 1 Catholic Primary School with 5 Special Classes. The successful candidate must hold the appropriate Certificate to teach Catholic Religious Education.
We are seeking to appoint a team player who is willing to contribute to the overall development of the school. Probation, experience of teaching in a similar sized co-educational school, additional qualifications or evidence of ongoing CPD in Special Education would be advantageous. Working as a team teacher to set appropriate targets and support pupils social, emotional, literacy and numeracy development is also essential.
