Early Years Play Leader - Athlone Co. Westmeath

At Ready Steady Play & Music, we deliver educational, fun and energetic developmental classes for Babies, Wobblers and Toddlers (NewBorn - 4yrs) with their parents.

Our classes are the excitement in children's lives everyday we teach them and we are looking for new Early Years Play Leaders who have a keen interest in early years education.

We are looking for Two Early Years Play Leaders in or around the Athlone Area, One to deliver public classes and one to deliver classes at Libraries, Events & PreSchools.

Play Leaders start the class and children's imaginations are immersed into the adventure of the week through developmental play & musical activities.
You get to teach age appropriate classes with weekly training and equipment updates.

-Building warm relationships with parents and their little ones through the classes
-Seeing the excitement on children's faces when they arrive at the class
-Public Classes - Working only 2-3 days per week Mondays & Saturdays initially with development towards a 3rd day a Friday or Tuesday.
-PreSchools & Libraries - Working 2-3 days per week over Mon-Fri
-Work life balance, finish early (2/3pm) each day of delivering classes with minimal hours required outside of class days
-Just working 41/42 weeks a year, off over most school holiday periods (Halloween, Xmas, Easter, August)
Public Classes - Working 17-24 hours per week.
PreSchools & Libraries - Working 5-10 hours per week

We are looking for:
-An energetic & fun personality
-Professional and/or Personal Experience working with Babies to PreSchoolers
-Can demonstrate a keen interest in early years education
-Experienced in a front line customer service role and/or performance based role
-Holding a relevant qualification is preferable
-Holds a full clean drivers license with own car
-Public Classes - Available to work Mondays & Saturdays (with availability on Fridays & Tuesdays), every week through the school calendar year up to end of July (This is a mandatory requirement, please don't apply if you are not available)
-PreSchools & Libraries - Available to work over Mon-Fri, every week through the school calendar year up to end of July (This is a mandatory requirement, please don't apply if you are not available)
Athlone Based (2 days in Athlone, plus an additional day to be added at another location)

PreSchool & Events Play Leader will be required for schools in the Athlone Area along with travel around the midlands, mileage rates apply in addition to wages for travel.
