An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Additional Information:
The Board of Management of St. Ciarán’s NS initially advertised this permanent vacancy on StaffRoom.ie on the 27th August 2025 for teachers listed on the Supplementary Panel for the Diocese of Meath. The closing date for receipt of expressions of interest was the 31st day of August 2025. The closing date for submission of expressions of interest from teachers on the relevant Supplementary Panel was extended by advertisement on StaffRoom.ie to the 2nd September 2025. The Board of Management of St. Ciarán’s NS is now proceeding to fill this permanent vacancy through open competition.
