An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
There are 3 SNA positions.
Position 1 - Fixed term - 0.83 post
Position 2 - Specified purpose - 0.83 post
Position 3 - Fixed Term SNA to support Ukrainian children to 19/12/25 - 0.5 post subject to termly review.
Experience of working in a team environment while supporting children with varying needs is desirable: e.g. supporting children with autism, supporting non verbal children, supporting children with behaviours of concern, providing intimate care, assisting children in the swimming pool during swimming lessons, supporting children using assistive technology. Confidentiality is required.
Positions may be in classes for children with autism or in mainstream classes
Appointment is subject to OHS, Garda Vetting, satisfactory references and sanction of DEF.
