Scoil Mhichíl Naofa is a Vertical Co-Educational school under the Patronage of the Archbishop of Dublin. The Board of Management of Scoil Mhichíl Naofa invites applications for the position of Administrative Principal. This is a permanent position appointed through open competition in line with Circular 0044/2019.
The successful candidate will be an experienced educational leader who is:
• Committed to the Catholic ethos of the school and the values of the Mercy tradition: compassion, respect, inclusion, service, and justice and hold a recognised Certificate to teach Religious Education
• A clear visionary to lead quality teaching and learning in a DEIS 1 context.
• Skilled in leadership, management, and communication.
• Experienced in leading and managing a large ISLM team, with strong delegation skills.
• Proficient in human resource management, including recruitment, staff development, and well-being.
• Committed to inclusive education, with proven capacity to lead and support Special Classes as well as mainstream provision.
• Experienced in DEIS planning, pastoral care, parental involvement and the promotion of positive behaviour strategies.
• Able to promote pupil voice and choice
• Able to foster a collaborative and motivated school community.
