An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The remaining candidates on the Supplementary Panel for the Diocese of Kildare and Leighlin were contacted in relation to this permanent, teaching vacancy in September 2025. The Board of Management of Scoil Fionntáin Naofa, Shanahoe is now proceeding to fill this permanent, teaching vacancy through open competition in line with the provisions of Circular 44/2019 from the Department of Education and Youth, having been authorised by the Diocesan Education Office to do so.

This position is for a permanent, mainstream class teacher with initial teaching duties in our Sonas Class for pupils on the Autistic Spectrum.
