Additional Information:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Essential Criteria:
QQ1 Level 3 major award or a minimum of three grade D (or O6) passes in Junior Certificate, or equivalent qualification .
Experience of working with children with medical and care needs.
Demonstrated skills in supporting pupils with additional needs in a primary school setting.
Candidates must be willing to undertake CPD courses relating to the needs of the children of the school.
The ideal candidate will be flexible and responsive to the needs of the children and the school.
Desirable Criteria ( not essential):
Relevant further training in areas such as First Aid, Manual Handling, Lámh.
Flexibility, teamwork and commitment to the ethos of the school.
Panel note:
Applicants who are deemed to be members of the SNA Supplementary Assignment Panel, and who hold a certificated copy of their Panel Form (PF1), should submit a copy with their application.
Appointments will be subject to current Garda Vetting requirements, Occupational Health Screening and satisfactory references.
Position is for the Infant Day (i.e. 0.83 of full time)
