We' are seeking to recruit an AIM Early Years Inclusion Educator for our preschool room.
Job Description
This is a specific purpose position. The AIM Early Years Inclusion Educator will work in partnership with the Lead Educator and INCO to provide an inclusive play-based environment that promotes the meaningful participation and holistic development of all children including children with disabilities and diverse needs . The AIM Early Years Inclusion Educator can be assigned other and reasonable duties within the early years service
Qualifications required
Essential: Minimum QQI Level 6 Major Award in Early Years Care and Education or equivalent . Desirable: LINC QQI level 6 special purpose award. Applicant's qualification's must be listed on the most recent DCEDIY list of Early Years Recognised Qualifications or have a Letter of Eligibility to practice from DCYA which indicates the award at level 6
Desirable: an up to date First Aid certificate and a Child Protection certificate
Experience required
Minimum 1 year post qualification experience in an early years setting. Plus experience working with children with additional needs is essential
Vetting Requirements
Garda vetting and international child protection certificate /police clearance is a standard safeguarding requirement for all employees who have resided outside of Ireland/Northern Ireland for a period of 6 months or more. Where an ICPC is required this must be submitted with the job application
Applicants who are not Irish or EEA Citizens must submit evidence of legal residency in the state with their application, i.e. a Certificate of Registration issued by the Garda National Immigration Bureau and/or a Passport endorsed with the appropriate permission to remain in the state.
