POST DETAILS
Additional Information:
Bus Escort required for 20 hours per week.
The escort will accompany pupils on bus from their home to and from school.
The escort must be available in the mornings and afternoons of school term.
The escort must have their own transport to and from the pick-up and drop off point agreed with the bus contractor.
Previous experience of working with children with Autism is desirable. Punctuality is essential, and regular attendance during term time is expected. The service cannot operate without the escort.
The escort is responsible for the safety of the children on board the bus and will be required to attend to pupil care needs including but not limited to assisting the child getting on and off the bus, securing appropriate seat belts etc.
Number of hours per day 4.
Appointment is subject to Garda vetting and appropriate character references.
