An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

St. Oliver Plunkett NS is a school that offers a two year placement to pupils aged 8 -12 years, who are of average or above average intellectual ability, and who have received a professional diagnosis of a specific reading difficulty (Dyslexia).

We are seeking motivated teachers who are team players, who are passionate about teaching, can work well on their own initiative and integrate well with the friendly and engaged team of teachers already on the staff.

Ideally, the successful candidate will be willing to add to the skill set of the staff currently in our school and share these skills/areas of interest with ours pupils.

All appointment are subject to Medmark approval and all the necessary background checks.
