This Bus Escort Position is for the transportation of pupils in our Early Intervention Autism Classes to and from school. The role is for approx 15 - 20 hours per week. The morning run will start at approximately 8 – 8:15am and the afternoon run will start at 2pm. Generally for the month of September and October, a third run is required as the new children that start with us, finish at 12 noon. The escort is responsible for the safety of the pupil and will be required to assist them getting into and out of the taxi / bus and securing appropriate seatbelts.

Experience working with children with autism is desirable. Candidates will be expected to deal with parents and school staff in a professional way. They will need to communicate regarding pick-ups /drop offs, illnesses, traffic, delays etc.

Appointment is subject to garda vetting and appropriate character references.
