An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Bus Escort/Carer Required – Monageer NS
The Board of Management invites applications for a School Bus
Escort/Carer to accompany children with autism to school in Monageer N.S.
There is 1 position to be filled.
School Bus Escorts/Carers will be expected to travel to and from the school
to meet the bus/taxi. The escort will accompany pupils on bus transport from
their home, to and from school. The escort is responsible for the safety of the
children on board the bus and will be required to provide pupil care needs
including, but not limited to, assisting the children getting on and off the
bus, securing appropriate seat belts, etc. Good communication skills and
experience of caring for/working with children with additional needs is
desirable.
Applicants must supply suitable character references. All appointments will
be subject to Garda Vetting certification and TUSLA Children First.
Hourly rate of pay is €13.40.
The work will consist of approx. 1.5hrs for morning drop-off: circa. 8.20 a.m. –
9.20 a.m. and repeat (in reverse) for after school collections. Infants Day/Full
Day.
Bus Escorts will not be paid during school holidays/days off.
