Applicants for this position should demonstrate a professional, flexible, self-motivated and caring approach to the role and display initiative in the area of Special Needs Support.
They must be capable of working with and supporting a range of special educational needs - emotional, behavioural, physical, medical and personal care needs.
The successful candidate must also be a team player who is willing to collaborate closely with colleagues in creating an inclusive learning environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills will be required.
Le Chéile Secondary School has two ASD classes and the SNA team support in both mainstream classes and the ASD classes.
