The Board of Management of Galway Educate Together Secondary School, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of a Special Needs Assistant. we have one full time post available, one half post (.5, 16 hours) and one job share .5 position.

Previous experience of working in Post Primary with a diverse cohort of students with differing requirements is desirable. Experience of working in an ASD class would also be of benefit.
The position is subject to the sanction of the NCSE, Department of Education and Board of Management. The post will be filled in accordance with DES guidelines, relevant Circular letters, Medical Fitness and Vetting Disclosure from National Vetting Bureau.
