This post is a fixed term post from 1st September 2025 to the 31st August 2026. This post is for a mainstream classroom in a multi class setting and is subject to change at the determination of the principal.
Carrickerry N.S. is seeking professionals, who are team players and who are willing to contribute to the overall development of the school. It is a Catholic School, the successful candidate must hold the appropriate certificate to teach Religious Education.
The following skills, experience and qualifications are desirable:
Experience of teaching in a similar sized co- educational school, with multi-grade classes
Probation
Experience in the following areas will be advantageous:
Digital Learning, Team teaching in Numeracy and Literacy
Experience in ASD
Copies of qualifications, Teaching Council Registration and relevant certificates to be provided by candidates invited to interview. Do not attach to your application. Appointment will be subject to Teaching Council Registration, current Garda Vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening
