Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Candidates are required to have minimum qualifications as per DES guidelines. An additional qualification in additional/special needs care and/or education is advantageous. Computer/Digital Technology competencies, previous experience of working in a school environment is desirable.
The candidate must display a strong work ethic, flexibility and the initiative to work independently and as part of a team.
Communication skills, understanding of school structures, along with a willingness to engage in further training is extremely important.
It is not possible to respond to each individual application. Only applicants shortlisted for interview will be contacted. Notification will be by email.
