This is a part-time fixed term post as a result of a job share arrangement.
This post is a post in special education, but is subject to change at the determination of the principal.
Boherbue NS is a Catholic school. The successful candidate must hold the appropriate Certificate to teach Catholic Religious Education.
Boherbue NS is seeking to appoint a team player who is willing to contribute to the overall development of Boherbue NS.
The following skills, experience and qualifications are desirable:
Probation
Experience of teaching in a similar size co-educational school
Work well as part of a collaborative team within the school community
Be flexible and willing to participate in school led initiatives
A willingness to promote and participate in extracurricular activities of the school
Evidence of ongoing CPD in Special Education would be advantageous.
Experience in the following areas would be advantageous:
IEPs, Standardised Testing, IT for SEN, Team-Teaching in Literacy and Numeracy.
EAL
Social, Emotional & Resilience Skills
Applications must be accompanied by the contact details of a minimum of three professional referees. Candidates called to interview will be required to provide proof of qualifications, Teaching Council registration and teaching grades. Appointment will be subject to Teaching Council Registration, current Garda Vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening.
