Scoil na mBuachaillí are seeking to appoint a bus escort. The escort will accompany pupils on specialised bus transport from their homes to and from school.
This contract is subject to change should pupils join/leave the service. Days to be confirmed.
Escorts must have their own transport to and from the school.
Hours of work: Morning: Approx. 7.00 - 9.00 am
Afternoons: Approx. 3.00pm - 5.00pm
Rate of pay: €15.50 per hour.
The escort is responsible for the safety of the pupils on board the bus and will be required to assist them getting on and off the bus and securing appropriate seat belts. Candidates will be expected to deal with parents and school staff in a professional way. They will need to communicate regarding pick ups, drop offs, illnesses, traffic. delays etc.
All appointments will be subject to Garda Vetting certification and TUSLA Children First.
