An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Scoil Chiaráin, Kilfinny invites applications from highly dedicated candidates for the position of Special Needs Assistant. This position is to cover a maternity leave and additional leave up until May 2026.
We are looking for someone who can be flexible and responsive to the needs of the children and the school.
We are looking for someone who is energetic, enthusiastic, can contribute to our team and work on their own initiative.
Candidates must be willing to undertake courses which relate to the needs of the children and the school.
Experience and/or training in working with children with A.S.D, O.T., emotional and behavioural difficulties, and medical care needs is essential and desirable.
First Aid Training would be advantageous.
Appointment is subject to current Garda vetting requirements, satisfactory references and occupational health screening.
