An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
These posts are to teach 1st Class and 3rd Class respectively.

The following skills, experience, and qualifications are desirable for this position:
• Successful completion of probation
• Experience teaching in a co-educational school of a similar size
• Strong understanding of supporting children with AEN (Additional Educational Needs) and EAL (English as an Additional Language)
• Experience integrating pupils from Special Classes into Mainstream settings
Experience in the following areas will be considered an advantage:
• Development and implementation of School Support Plans
• Use of Standardised Testing
• Team-teaching approaches in Literacy and Numeracy
• Skills, experience, or a strong interest sa Ghaeilge, PE, and Music
Essential for this role:
• Excellent classroom management
• Effective planning and organisational skills
• A high level of flexibility
