An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Applicants must have a certificate to teach RE.
The following are advantageous:
Knowledge of SEN model, ICT, in particular Assistive Technology, and Team Teaching.
Knowledge of evidence-based interventions, assessment and planning.
A willingness to promote and participate in the life and extra-curricular activities of the school, particularly Well-being, sport, Gaelige, fundraising and a commitment and understanding of rural communities. Please detail how you meet these requirements in your application letter.
Your expression of interest must be accompanied by a letter of application, your CV (3 copies) and contact details for a minimum of three referees.
Appointment is subject to, but not limited to satisfactory references, current and continued Teaching Council registration, compliance with vetting requirements and OHS requirements.
Candidates called for interview will be required to provide proof of qualifications, teaching practice grades and Teaching Council registration. Appointment is subject to current Garda Vetting and Occupational Health Screening.
