The first post is a fixed term position for the full school year covering a teacher who is on Job Share leave. This position will be in a mainstream classroom and the Droichead Process will be facilitated if required.

The second post is a fixed term EAL position teaching children English as an additional language. This post is conditional on 30 September 2025 enrolments so it can only be filled on a temporary basis up to Friday 24 October 2025, until the school confirms that it has achieved the projected enrolment for 30 September 2025.
If the school has achieved the projected enrolment figures on 30 September 2025 for pupils that require language support, the post can then be filled on a fixed term basis for the remainder of the year.
Therefore, the appointment form and contract will commence on 1st September 2025 to Friday 24th October 2025. Once the school has confirmed retention of the enrolment figures, the appointment and contract will be extended to the full year with no break in salary. The successful candidate may have the opportunity to complete the Droichead Process through a swap in role between this EAL position and a mainstream classroom position.
