The Board of Management of Goatstown ETNS invites applications for four fixed-term teaching positions for the 2025/2026 school year:
2 Mainstream Class Teachers
1 Special Education Teacher (SET)
1 Autism Class Teacher (ASD Class)
All posts will commence on Tuesday, 26th August 2025, subject to Garda Vetting and Teaching Council registration.
Goatstown ETNS opened in 2019 and is a growing, values-based Educate Together school. We are committed to equality, inclusion and restorative practice. Relationships are central to how we work, and our staff team gathers each morning for a brief check-in to support collaboration and connection.
In 2025/2026, we will have mainstream classes from Junior Infants to Fifth Class and one autism class. The school is projected to grow to 16 mainstream classes and 4 autism classes. We are currently based at the Notre Dame Campus in Churchtown and will eventually move to a new, purpose-built school on Goatstown Road beside Goatstown Educate Together Secondary School.
We are seeking passionate and dedicated teachers who:
Embody the Educate Together ethos
Are committed to inclusive, child-centred education
Value teamwork and a positive school culture
Have experience or a strong interest in one or more of the following areas:
Mainstream classroom teaching
Special education (SET)
Autism-specific settings (ASD class)
Essential Requirements
Fully registered with the Teaching Council
Experience teaching in a recognised primary school
Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team
Familiarity with inclusive practices and differentiated teaching approaches
Desirable (for ASD post)
Experience working in a special class setting
Knowledge of autism-specific strategies and supports
Application Details
Please email your letter of application and the Standard Application Form for Teaching Posts (Primary) to: gsetns.mct1@gmail.com
