Eolas Breise:
The Board of Management of Goatstown ETNS invites applications for three fixed-term teaching positions for the 2025/2026 school year. These roles will focus on supporting pupils with English as an Additional Language (EAL) and will commence on Tuesday the 26th of August 2025, subject to Garda Vetting and Teaching Council registration.
Please note: The positions are initially sanctioned until 24th October 2025; however, we are confident that the posts will remain in place for the entire school year.
Goatstown ETNS opened in 2019 and is a growing, values-based Educate Together school. We are committed to equality, inclusion and restorative practice. Relationships are central to how we work, and our staff team gathers each morning for a brief check-in to support collaboration and connection.
In 2025/2026, we will have mainstream classes from Junior Infants to Fifth Class and one autism class. The school is projected to grow to 16 mainstream classes and 4 autism classes. We are currently based at the Notre Dame Campus in Churchtown and will eventually move to a new, purpose-built school on Goatstown Road beside Goatstown Educate Together Secondary School.
We are seeking passionate and dedicated teachers who:
Embody the Educate Together ethos
Are committed to inclusive, child-centred education
Have experience or a strong interest in supporting EAL learners
Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills
Value teamwork and a positive school culture
Essential Requirements
Fully registered with the Teaching Council
Experience teaching in a recognised primary school
Familiarity with best practices for supporting EAL learners
Application Details
Please email your letter of application and the Standard Application Form for Teaching Posts (Primary) to: teachers.getns@gmail.com
Interviews will take place on Wednesday 16th, Thursday 17th and Friday 18th July 2025.
