St. Aidan’s N.S. is a vibrant, inclusive, co-educational Catholic primary school under the patronage of the Diocese of Kilmore. We are committed to excellence in teaching and learning, and to fostering a warm, child-centred school environment.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative and dedicated teaching team. Experience in multi-grade teaching, inclusive education, and a strong commitment to the ethos of a Catholic school will be considered advantageous.

The Board of Management initially advertised this permanent vacancy on this website on 17th June 2025 for teachers listed on the Supplementary Panel for the Diocese of Kilmore. The closing date for receipt of expressions of interest was 22nd June 2025.

The closing date for submission of expressions of interest from teachers on the relevant Supplementary Panel was then extended by advertisement on this website to 25th June 2025, in line with Circular 0020/2024.

As no valid applications were received during either period, and with the approval of the Diocese of Kilmore, the Board of Management is now proceeding to fill this permanent vacancy through open competition.

The appointment will be made in accordance with Circular 0044/2019 and relevant Department of Education guidelines.
