An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Robertstown National School is a progressive, inclusive and welcoming school. September will mark the opening of our first autism class which we are very excited about.
Candidates called to interview will be required to provide proof of qualifications as per Department of Education and Skills requirements.

We have one permanent 0.83 position which will be in our Autism class.
We also have a 0.5 position which will be a job share position with an existing staff member.
Appointment will be subject to, but not limited to, satisfactory references, compliance with current Garda Vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening.
Experience working as a SNA in an ASD class setting and familiar with strategies around supporting a child with ASD is desirable.
Candidates must work well as part of a team, be flexible and demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training.
Only those that are shortlisted will be contacted.
