Cherrywood ETNS is a developing school located in the new community of Cherrywood in South Dublin. The school opened in September 2020 and in September 2025 will have up to fourth class. The projected enrolment for September 2025 is 220 pupils.
Cherrywood ETNS prides itself on the child centred education it provides to the children who attends it. Playful learning and inclusion is a priority and the school endeavours to be as neuro affirmative as it can be. The two autism classes in the school are an integral part of the school life. A huge emphasis is put on relationships between all members of the school community. The school is lucky enough to be surrounded by plenty of parks and outside spaces so the use of the outdoors is also a big part of school life.
Cherrywood ETNS is looking for seven teachers initially: one full time fixed term for the year, three Projected Enrolment Posts, 2 long term maternity leaves and a part time SET position.
