Ballydowd is a High Support Special School under the Patronage of Dublin and Dun Laoghaire ETB. *Teaching in the main is on a one to one basis*



Ballydowd School is located within the Tusla Special Care Unit, Palmerstown, Dublin 22. It provides education to young people committed under a special care order to Ballydowd Special Care Unit. Residents are typically aged from twelve to seventeen years. The ethos of the school is to engage in the highest level of respectful engagement with students and uphold the DDLETB values of collaboration, professionalism, care, innovation, equality and Integrity.



Ballydowd High Support Special School is an educational facility, whose function is the provision of high quality education, delivered to the highest of standards, to all young people who attend.
