An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Camcloon NS are recruiting for two SNA positions, starting 29th August 2025 - one full-time position and one fixed-term infant hours (0.83) position. The successful candidates will be required to work in either the Mainstream or Autism Class settings. Experience of both settings is desirable and would be advantageous.
Camcloon NS is a Catholic Primary school under the patronage of the Archbishop of Tuam - a willingness to uphold and support the Catholic ethos is essential.
The successful candidates will be:
- flexible, inclusive, energetic and demonstrate initiative
- be reflective practitioners and seek out Professional Learning opportunities in areas of self-identified need
- willing to upskill depending on needs of the children
- experience working with a wide range of additional needs and behaviours of concern
- committed to working as part of a busy, dynamic and supportive team
The appointments will be subject to current Garda Vetting requirements and Medmark Occupational Health Screening.
