The Board of Management of St. Laserian’s School wishes to invite expressions of interest in a permanent vacancy, with initial duties in a Senior Autism Class, from teachers listed on the Supplementary Panel for the Diocese of Kildare and Leighlin (County Carlow). An expression of interest should be forwarded to the Chairperson of the Board of Management at the following address: posts@stlaserians.ie by the 23rd day of June 2025, being 5 calendar days from the date of this advertisement.
St. Laserian's School is a special school; we educate students aged 5-18 with Mild, Moderate, and Severe to Profound I.D. Many students have complex needs.
Experience of working with children/young adults with an Intellectual Disability and with Autism is an advantage, as is experience in using LÁMH and training, knowledge, and experience of managing behaviours that challenge but not essential.
We are interested in teachers who are passionate, caring and professional, and who will join our established team in making a difference in our learner's educational journey.
