Aughacasla NS is seeking a Professional SNA to cover a Fixed Term Maternity Leave. The successful candidate must have good interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of a team.
The following skills, experiences and qualifications are desirable
• Candidates must demonstrate practical experience with the management of behaviours of concern and the promotion of positive behaviour strategies.
• Knowledge and experience of working with children with ASD is also desirable.
• Up to date training in the administration of Buccolam Midazolam
• Candidates must display a strong work ethic and demonstrate a willingness to avail of further professional training.
Candidates selected for interview will ideally have completed an appropriate Special Needs Assistant course.
Further duties will also be assigned by class Teachers and Principal.

Appointment is subject to current Garda vetting requirements and occupational health screening.
