Scoil Bernadette is a co-educational post-primary special school, which caters for the needs of students aged 12 – 18 years with mild general learning disabilities. The aim of the school staff is to provide a secure, caring and supportive environment, through the provision of post-primary social, personal, academic, vocational and relevant life skill programmes.

Many students present with additional needs such as ASD, ADHD,
Emotional/Behavioural, medical and physical etc.

We are seeking to employ a part-time Science teacher for 10 hours per week.

Knowledge and experience of working with teenagers in a special school/class is desirable. The appointments are subject to reference checks, Garda Vetting, Teaching Council registration, Department of Education and Patron sanction.

Please note that candidates who are interviewed may be placed on a panel for up to four months from which future vacancies may be filled as they arise.
