Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

St. Michael's G.N.S. is a DEIS 1 Urban school.
The successful candidate will be expected to respect the confidentiality of the pupils and school matters at all times and to respect and uphold the school's Catholic ethos.
The successful candidates are expected to carry out duties as per circular 0030/2014.
We invite individuals who are energetic, enthusiastic, can contribute to our team and work on his/her own initiative.
Candidates must be flexible and responsive to the care needs of the children and the school and willing to undertake CPD courses which relate to the needs of the children & the school.
Experience working with children with ADHD, Autism, emotional / behavioural needs is desirable.
The successful candidate can be allocated to any SNA role in the school at any time, at the discretion of the school principal.
Our SNA allocation is subject to review at any stage.
