The Board of Management of Greenmount N.S. invites applications for:

One new full-time SNA position
One new 0.82 SNA position
One fixed term, full-time SNA position
Two 0.5 SNA positions covering job shares

We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated candidates who demonstrate a genuine commitment to supporting the care and nurture needs of children with additional needs.

The ideal candidates will have:

• Relevant and recent experience working as an SNA in a primary school setting.
• Experience working in both mainstream classes and special classes attached to mainstream schools.
• Specific experience supporting children with Autism and associated care needs.
• Experience of supporting pupils with Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) and associated care needs.
• Evidence of recent engagement in Continuous Professional Development (CPD), particularly in areas relevant to the role.
• An understanding of and experience working with pupils from diverse cultural backgrounds, including children with English as an Additional Language (EAL).
• A flexible, adaptable approach with the ability to respond effectively to the needs of a busy school environment.
• Strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a large, dynamic team of SNAs, teachers and other professionals.

The successful candidates will be expected to contribute positively to the school’s inclusive ethos and to support pupils’ care, well-being and independence needs in a respectful and child-centred manner.
