An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Kolbe Special School caters for pupils with a severe learning disability and those with an additional diagnosis of autism.
Kolbe has a student population of 48 pupils, 10 teachers including Principal and Deputy Principal, 27 SNAs, 18 Bus Escorts, Caretaker and Secretary.
Kolbe is also supported by the HSE CDNT team with a Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist and Psychologist.
The successful candidate must be able to work as part of a team, have a strong work ethic and display a commitment to the ethos of the school.
All appointments are subject to sanction from the Department of Education.
