Additional Information:
Le Chéile National School is a Catholic, vertical, co-educational school with two special classes for pupils with Autism and one special class for pupils with an Emotional and/or a Behavioural Disorder.
The successful candidates are expected to carry out duties as per circular 0030/2014.
We are looking for individuals who can be flexible and responsive to the care needs of the children and the school.
We invite those who are energetic, enthusiastic, can contribute to our team and work on his/her own initiative.
Candidates must be willing to undertake CPD courses which relate to the needs of the children & the school.
Experience working with children with Autism, emotional / behavioural needs, ADHD is desirable.
The successful candidates can be allocated to any SNA role in the school at any time, at the discretion of the school principal. This includes mainstream classes as well as our autism class. Our SNA allocation is subject to review at any stage.
Appointment is subject to current Garda Vetting requirements, Occupational Health Screening and satisfactory references.
Applicants who are deemed to be members of the SNA Supplementary Panel with supplementary panel rights, must furnish a certified copy of a completed Panel Form (PF1) with their application.
Applications will be accepted by post only.
Please clearly mark “SNA Application” on the envelope. Canvassing will disqualify without exception. Only those candidates shortlisted for interview will be contacted.
One post is a full time post and one post is an Infant post 0.83
