An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The Board of Management initially advertised this permanent vacancy on this website on the 30th May 2025 and extended the period of time within which an expression of interest could have been be submitted by a teacher on the Supplementary Panel for the Diocese of Cashel and Emly by two calendar days on Monday, 9th June.
Having received no expressions of interest by post as advertised, the Board of Management confirms that it is proceeding to fill the vacancy in Lisnamrock N.S. through open recruitment.
Initial duties involve teaching Junior Infants, Senior infants and First Class and are subject to change.
The following skills and experience are advantageous:
• Evidence of strong behaviour management skills
• Ability to effectively plan and deliver the curriculum including a variety of team-teaching and literacy and numeracy initiatives.
• Proven ability to contribute positively to the school community and school development
• Ardchumas Gaeilge
• Additional relevant qualifications
Applicants must have a Certificate to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school.
Appointment is subject, but not limited to satisfactory references, current Garda Vetting requirements, an occupational health screening and Túsla child safeguarding training.
