CBS invites applicants for the role of Special Needs Assistant for the 2025/26 school year.
The position is a job-share role, working each Wednesday and Thursday, and every alternate Friday.
The successful applicant will demonstrate an ability to work well as part of a team, be flexible, display excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and demonstrate a willingness to engage in further relevant professional development.
The school has three ASD classes; experience of working with post-primary students with autism is therefore essential. Relevant experience of working with post-primary students with complex needs, communication difficulties, epilepsy, emotional and behaviour difficulties, and working with a variety of care needs is also required.
