An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Additional Information:
ABACAS Kilnamanagh is a special school for children with Autism and Complex Needs. This position is a Fixed term contract covering Jobshare. The successful applicant will work in a supportive environment working alongside a classroom teacher, a team of highly experienced SNAs, an onsite Behaviour Practitioner as well as external visiting professionals. Significant experience working with pupils with Autism and communication difficulties in an educational setting is essential. Candidates must demonstrate practical experience with the management of behaviours of concern and the promotion of positive behaviour strategies.
