An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
St David's National School is a Church of Ireland National School. There are currently 5 class teachers and 2 learning support teachers employed in the school. There are 5.66 SNA posts in the school also. Our mainstream classes are multi-grade and there is 1 Special Class which was opened in November 2023.
These posts are to cover two maternity leaves, which will both extend the full academic year. One post is to cover 1st and 2nd class and the second post is to cover 5th and 6th class.
The successful candidate should display strong communication skills and be capable of working as part of a team.
