Saplings Special School Goresbridge is a school for pupils with Autism and other complex needs, aged 4 to 18 years. We are looking for a teacher who is inclusive, flexible and responsive to the needs of the children and the school. The ideal candidate will be energetic, enthusiastic and can work on their own initiative whilst making a positive contribution to the school team.
Experience of working with pupils with autism and intellectual disabilities is essential. Evidence of CPD in the area of special needs would be advantageous. Applicants should be registered with the Teaching Council and should demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
