An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

About Our School

Leixlip Educate Together National School is a newly established and rapidly developing primary school. We first opened our doors to eleven Junior Infants in 2019. Since then, we have grown steadily and, by September 2025, we expect to have approximately 210 pupils from Junior Infants to Sixth Class.

We are a vibrant, inclusive, creative and child-centred school with a strong focus on wellbeing. We are proud to have begun our journey as a Nurture School and will open our first autism class in September 2025.

We are currently seeking two infant-day ANAs who are enthusiastic about the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and evolving school community. We are looking for individuals who will be excited to join a developing school and who are eager to contribute to its continued growth and success.

We welcome applications from committed, caring candidates who demonstrate adaptability, positivity, initiative and passion for the role. A genuine understanding of, and commitment to, the Educate Together ethos is essential.

Successful candidates will join a dedicated and supportive team of 8 Additional Needs Assistants (ANAs) and 15 teachers, many of whom have joined in recent years as our school has grown.
