Additional Information:
The Board of Management of Ardcroney National School invites applications for an SNA position. This is a permanent position and the successful candidate will be working in a mainstream class setting.
Highly desirable requirements:
• SNA QQI Level 5 and/or 6 Qualification.
• Evidence of commitment to continuous professional development is advantageous.
The duties of this post are supporting the care needs of pupils with additional needs, as laid out by the Department of Education & Skills Circular 0030/2014. The candidate must be able to work as part of a team, display a strong work ethic, be flexible and have an initiative to work independently. The position will involve working closely with the Principal/Class Teacher and Special Education Teacher. The successful candidate will be expected to respect the dignity and confidentiality of the pupils and will be expected to avail of further training as required.
Appointment will be subject to current references, Garda vetting and OH screening.
Candidates are asked to provide a cover letter detailing their experience, skills and qualities and showing their suitability for the post.
