Gilson NS is a Catholic school under the patronage of the Bishop of Meath.
These are part-time positions (0.83 post, infant day) and the posts will be based in our autism class.
Applicants on the supplementary panel should submit a Panel Form 1 (PF1) with their application. Applicants must have the qualifications outlined in the Department of Education and Skills, Circular 0051/2019.
Candidates should have experience working with children with autism and complex needs, experience and training in communication needs (Lámh), experience in managing challenging behaviour and in the promotion of positive behaviour strategies.
Candidates must be flexible and personable, have the ability to work within a team, display a strong work ethic and demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training.
The successful candidate will be subject to current vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening.
