St. Patrick's School provides education for students aged 4 to 18 years with moderate, severe, and profound intellectual disabilities. Many of our students also have additional needs, including autism and complex medical conditions.
We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative individual to join our team. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and be committed to supporting the diverse needs of our students.
Our school follows the full Primary Curriculum, while post-primary students engage with the Junior Cycle Level 1 and Level 2, as well as the Senior Cycle Level 1 and Level 2 learning programmes.
Experience or knowledge of the following is desirable:
PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System)
Lámh (signing system)
Positive behaviour support strategies
Crisis intervention and management
Training will be provided where required.
St. Patrick's School is a Droichead school and participates fully in the Droichead Induction Programme for newly qualified teachers.
