An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Essential Requirements:
A minimum QQI Level 5 qualification in Special Needs Assisting
A commitment to the ethos of the school and working as part of a collaborative team
Evidence of flexibility, kindness, and empathy in working with children
Desirable Experience:
Supporting children with ASD, ADHD, sensory needs or communication difficulties
Previous work in a primary school environment
Understanding of inclusive education and child-centred approaches
Appointment is subject to current Garda Vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening.
Applicants who are deemed to be members of the SNA Supplementary Panel with supplementary panel rights, must furnish a certified copy of a completed Panel Form (PF1) with their application.
