An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Mayo Abbey NS invites applications for the vacancies outlined below which are subject to allocation and review by the NCSE.
Permanent Standard - 1 post
Part-time - 0.5 fixed term post
Applicants should have qualifications as per Department of Education circular 0051/2019.
Applicants who are deemed to be members of the SNA Supplementary panel with supplementary panel rights, must furnish a certified copy of a completed panel form (PF1) with their application.
Applicants should have experience of working with young children with complex needs in mainstream classes.
The successful candidates are subject to Garda vetting, medical assessment through Medmark and must complete a Túsla Safeguarding course.
