An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

St. Michael's House Special National School, Raheny is a school for pupils with a Moderate General Learning Disability between the ages of four to eighteen years. Many of the pupils have complex needs including Autism, care needs and some with behaviours of concern.
There are currently 3 permanent positions available and 1 fixed term. There may be further positions available.
Please note, candidates may be shortlisted and contacted if called for interview before closing date. The interviews will take place on Tuesday 17th June 2025 in the school.

Candidates must have Teaching Council Registration. An additional qualification of working in Special Education is advantageous. Experience and having a real interest and dedication to working with students with Special Educational Needs to help them achieve their full potential is extremely important and highly desirable.
