POST DETAILS
Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The post is a job sharing SET position teacher initially, but may be subject to change. Curriculum Vitae must be accompanied by a cover letter, which provides the following information:
Details of relevant certificates, diplomas and degrees obtained and the standard obtained in each.
Details of experience of Literacy and Numeracy initiatives.
Details of Team Teaching
Details of teaching children with SEN
Details of being part of a cross curricular initiative, such as the Green Schools, Active Schools, Gaelbhratach, Health Promoting Schools, etc
Details of using IT with children.
Full probation is desirable. A minimum of 2 years continuous teaching is desirable.
Applicants will be subject to vetting requirements as detailed in DES Circular 0031/2016 and OHS requirements.
